Conserving Money
“High Power Prices Lit Fire Under Conservation” (July 14) seems to indicate that they have discovered a fundamental principle of finance. They have compiled a compelling case showing that when prices rise, users tend to use less of a given commodity.
Now if we can get our Gov. Gray Davis and the Legislature to grasp this principle they will understand at last what every single low-income person has known from the git-go.
