Israeli Teen Killed in West Bank Shooting
An Israeli teenager was shot to death in the West Bank, and three bombs exploded near Israeli vehicles hours after Palestinians buried a militant killed in an Israeli missile attack.
Palestinians opened fire near the entrance of Givat Zeev, a settlement north of Jerusalem, killing a 17-year-old boy, Israeli radio said.
Israeli tanks later shelled Palestinian police posts north of the West Bank city of Ramallah and a checkpoint run by Force 17, an elite security unit, near the site of the shooting, Palestinians said. Earlier, three bombs went off near the West Bank town of Jenin. No one was hurt.
