Euro Rising

Despite a small dip Friday, the euro tallied its third straight weekly advance against the dollar, as evidence of a slowing U.S. economy weakened the greenback against several major currencies. Some traders doubted the euro’s ability to extend the rally, however, after it failed to add to the two-month high it achieved against the dollar Thursday.
