3 Charged in Ritual Slaying of U.S. Woman
From Staff and Wire Reports
Malaysian prosecutors charged three men with capital murder in the killing of an American woman--an alleged ritual sacrifice to obtain lottery numbers from the spirits.
The body of Carolyn Jamaica Noraini Abdullah, who was originally from Duluth, Minn., was discovered in a grave at a plantation last month. She was 35 when she disappeared in November 1999.
The suspects did not enter pleas.
