The law firm of Winston & Strawn signed a 10-year lease for about 50,000 square feet in the Wells Fargo Center North Tower at 333 S. Grand Ave. in Los Angeles and is scheduled to move in December from its 21,000-square-foot office at 444 S. Flower St. The principals did not disclose the value of the lease, but it is estimated to be about $16 million at average asking rates for the Wells Fargo building. The tenant was represented by Nancy Packer of U.S. Equities and Tom McDonald of Cushman & Wakefield. The landlord, Maguire Partners, was represented in-house by Tony Morales.
D&L; Studio Transportation Inc. signed a 10-year, $3.3-million lease for 10.7 acres of industrial land in Lake View Terrace. Darrin Nickerson of Investment Development Services Inc. represented the tenant. The landlord, Woods-Hayden Partnership of Lake View Terrace, was represented by Michael Hooker of Delphi Business Properties.
PacifiCare Health Systems signed a 10-year, $15.7-million lease for 93,535 square feet of office space at 5757 Plaza Drive in Cypress. The landlord, Layton Belling & Associates, was represented by Brian DeRevere, Bob Goodmanson and Brian Beerbaum of CB Richard Ellis.
Katella Property purchased a 37,437-square-foot office building at 6415 Katella Ave. in Cypress for $4.6 million from Hager Pacific Properties. The buyer and seller were represented by Scott Smith, Bob Goodmanson and Ben Seybold of CB Richard Ellis.
