Council Seat, Bonds Up for Vote
Voters go to the polls Tuesday to decide a City Council race in Orange and bond measures for the Huntington Beach City School District and the Laguna Beach Unified School District.
Voting hours are 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. To find your polling place, call the county registrar of voters office at (714) 567-7600. Or sign on to the registrar’s Web site, https://https://www.oc.ca.gov/election and click on the “Polling Places” button on the left side of the screen.
Sample ballots are also on the registrar’s Web site; click on the button for “Election Material/Absentee Voting.”
Recently registered voters should have received a postcard confirming their registration and naming their polling place. Those who didn’t should contact the registrar’s office.
Absentee ballots must be received at the registrar’s office--1300 S. Grand Ave., Building C, Santa Ana--or at any open polling place by 8 p.m. Tuesday to be counted.
Election results are expected to be available on the registrar’s Web site late Tuesday night. Click on the “Live Election Results” button.
