Eye Drugs Recalled After Meningitis Death

Contra Costa County health officials ordered a recall Friday of injectable and certain eye medications following one man’s death and the infection of three others with a noncontagious form of meningitis.
The four contracted the disease after receiving cortisone shots contaminated with the bacteria, health investigators said.
