No to Snoop TV

Share

Re “The TV’s Eye Is Set on You,” June 11: Now I’ve heard it all. TV advertisers want to cherry-pick their audience with so-called addressable advertising--or to put it plainly, further invade the privacy of your home. If these potential snoopers want to do something constructive, they should make it possible for the viewer to eliminate the annoying and obnoxious blurbs altogether. As it is now, to cancel this nuisance it is necessary to keep punching the mute button or the power switch to obliterate the intrusion. Enough already.
