Share

Southern California taxpayers who are having problems with the Internal Revenue Service can get help at two local offices Saturday during the IRS’ National Problem Solving Day.

The event, to be held at the IRS’ Los Angeles and Santa Ana offices from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., will match taxpayers with IRS experts who can help them resolve tax problems, IRS officials said. Appointments are encouraged and can be made by calling the IRS’ toll-free number, (800) 829-1040, but walk-ins also will be accepted, said Deborah Guajardo, IRS spokeswoman in Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles office is at 300 N. Los Angeles St.; the Santa Ana office is at 24 Civic Center Plaza.
