If Dodger Dogs tasted lousy (or below average) year after year, fans would stop buying them and we certainly wouldn’t tolerate an exorbitant price hike based on the promise that “they have the potential” to taste good this year . . . or maybe next.

Sure, hot dogs at the stadium are overpriced, but they’re consistently good. It’s Darren Dreifort’s $11-million-a-year contract that leaves a bad taste in our mouths.
