Columbine Crime Scene Documents Are Released
Authorities released 737 pages of crime scene notes and sketches on the Columbine High School massacre, but police said at least one investigator was wrong in describing how officers found a gun one shooter used to commit suicide.
The documents show gunman Dylan Klebold died with his TEC-DC9 pistol in his right hand. But investigators said he shot himself in his left temple.
The “lab books” include notes taken by the first officers and investigators to arrive at the school on April 20, 1999, as Eric Harris and Klebold killed 12 students and a teacher before killing themselves.
