Development Seminar for K-12 Teachers Offered

Cal State Channel Islands will host a professional development institute aimed at helping teachers work with culturally diverse students.
The program, which is open to teachers from kindergarten through 12th grade, starts with a session July 9-13. The institute also includes an online discussion and participation in a history-social science conference during the coming school year.
Educators who successfully complete all requirements will receive a $750 stipend. For information or to RSVP by June 28, call 437-8597.
