Two French Airlines File for Bankruptcy

PARIS — AOM and Air Liberte airlines, Swissair Group’s unprofitable French units, filed for bankruptcy this month, saying they are running out of funds and have found no buyers. The two carriers have enough money to operate until the end of this month, though they planned to cut back on flights, the companies said in a faxed statement.
