‘West Wing’ Death

Of all the asinine reasons and explanations for eliminating a role in a series, “The West Wing” tops the list (“Fans Still Mourning Mrs. Landingham,” by David Bauder, June 13)!

There aren’t any creative, talented and well-paid writers in Hollywood who couldn’t have written about the secretary’s influence on the president’s life than by killing her off? Hogwash!

I would really like to know who was responsible for this, as I will ban any other show they have a hand in.
