* Re “Simi to Look at Campaign Finance Reform,” Feb. 24.
I am pleased to read that Simi Valley City Councilman Paul Miller is trying to introduce some reforms to campaign financing of local elections. However, I have my doubts that it will do much good.
There has been much discussion, letter writing and woe among the populace this past year as we witnessed our beautiful hills north of the freeway at Yosemite Avenue sliced and diced.
The issue isn’t money; it’s character, values and the basic concept of what’s right versus wrong.
