Apex Computer Names Customer-Care Manager

* Apex Computer Systems Inc., a Cerritos-based computer services firm, has named Amy Sand-Li manager of customer care at its consulting solutions group division. She previously was operations and finance manager of Topskill Corp. in Chino.

* Philip Lelyveld has been promoted to vice president, digital industry relations, at Walt Disney Co.’s New Technology division. He will lead efforts in emerging technology standards and related inter-industry technology strategies.

* Eric Fisher has joined Fox Family Worldwide as vice president of advertising sales. He will oversee West Coast ad sales initiatives. He was formerly director of advertising sales for the NBA.

* Veteran commercial real estate professional Neil Resnick has joined Grubb & Ellis Co. as senior vice president in the firm’s West Los Angeles office. He previously was with CB Richard Ellis.

* El Segundo-based e-business consultancy Syncata has hired electronic procurement and supply chain management expert Rakesh Batra to lead its supply chain management practice. He was formerly with Andersen Consulting in Sydney, Australia.
