After four heart attacks and two recent heart procedures (“Pains Prompt Urgent Heart Care for Cheney,” March 6), Dick Cheney’s insistence that he continue as vice president smacks of egotism and the need to protect George W. The Republicans will go to any length, including risking a life already in jeopardy, to protect this president.
