Pharmacist Targeted in Raid Gets License
The owner of an Oklahoma pharmacy that was shut down this week over allegations it illegally sold controlled drugs over the Internet has obtained a license to operate an Internet pharmacy in Tennessee.
Clayton Fuchs received a license Feb. 20 to operate RX Express in Tennessee, said Kendall Lynch, the director of Tennessee’s Board of Pharmacy.
On Monday, state and federal agents raided Fuchs’ Mainstreet Pharmacy in Norman, which operated a Web site. Authorities allege Fuchs’ business filled up to 800 prescriptions and refills a day for controlled drugs, such as Valium.
