QLogic to Supply Compaq With Adapters, Drivers

QLogic Corp., an Aliso Viejo computer parts maker, said Thursday that it has agreed to supply Compaq Computer Corp. with a family of adapters and drivers. Terms were not disclosed.

QLogic said in a press release that the products will be used to implement Compaq’s new network storage management technology. Compaq’s system will incorporate QLogic’s controllers to enable high-speed connections at low cost.
