Manufacturing Technology on Display at Westec 2001

State-of-the-art manufacturing technology will be on display this week at the Los Angeles Convention Center as the Westec 2001 convention and exposition gets underway today. One of North America’s largest annual expositions for new metalworking and manufacturing machinery, the event is expected to draw tens of thousands during its four-day run. On display will be such devices as new electron-beam welders and machines incorporating new thread-rolling and grinding technology. Seminars on such topics as lean manufacturing and trade will be offered.
