Four Local Start-Ups to Woo Investors

Share

Four Orange County companies have been selected as part of a group of 15 start-up firms that will strut their stuff before an audience of investors at the semiannual California Investor Forum in Anaheim in mid-May.

The forum said in a press release Thursday that executives from the firms will present their business plans in an effort to win venture backing from the investors. At the previous nine conferences, companies have raised a total of more than $80 million, the forum said.

The Orange County companies are Dermacel Inc. of Laguna Niguel, a skin-care products company; Good Health Check of Laguna Niguel, a developer of low-cost blood tests for cardiovascular and other disorders; National Water & Power of Santa Ana, a billing servicer for owners of rental properties; and Watch It Work, an Irvine maker of 3-D interactive technology to display medical products.
