Bloomberg News

Intuit Inc. said the executive in charge of its QuickBooks accounting software resigned, after disappointing sales of the product forced the company to lower revenue forecasts. Dan Nye, vice president of Intuit’s small-business division, resigned for personal reasons, the company said. Intuit on March 15 said fiscal third-quarter sales would miss forecasts because of slow sales of QuickBooks. Shares of Mountain View, Calif.-based Intuit fell 25 cents to close at $27.75 on Nasdaq.
