10 Agencies Awarded Grants to Aid Seniors
The Ventura County Board of Supervisors has awarded nearly $50,000 to 10 area organizations that provide services to senior citizens.
Grants will be administered by the Ventura County Area Agency on Aging.
Recipients are Food Share, $5,000; St. John’s Regional Medical Center, $3,550; Easter Seals Tri-Counties, $3,230; Area Housing Authority, $6,500; Livingston Memorial Visiting Nurse Assn., $3,000; Camarillo Hospice, $5,600; Helen Kelly Adult Day Care Center, $4,000; Candelaria American Indian Council, $5,000; Alzheimer’s Assn., $2,645, and the county Human Services Agency, $10,602.
