Twenty-six Harvard students ended a three-week sit-in Tuesday, walking out of the school’s main administration building with an agreement that the university reopen negotiations with custodial and dining room workers.

The university will form a 10-member committee that will make recommendations about the school’s employment policies and practices.

The accord also calls for Harvard to halt subcontracting and outsourcing jobs and give some workers retroactive wage raises.
