Fluor Corp. said Monday a consortium headed by one of the company’s units has been selected by The Netherlands for a $1.2-billion contract to design, build, finance and maintain Holland’s first high-speed rail project. Aliso Viejo-based Fluor, which holds a 15% interest in the consortium, expects to book between $100 million and $200 million at the closing of the deal, which should occur in the fourth quarter this year. Fluor’s shares closed at $53.98, up 22 cents, on the New York Stock Exchange.
