College District Buys Hospital as New Campus
From Times staff reports
The North Orange County Community College District on Monday bought the vacant Martin Luther Hospital Anaheim, where it plans to open a satellite campus.
The district paid $10.5 million for the 270,000-square-foot building at 1830 W. Romneya Drive.
The campus is scheduled to open in August 2002.
The district has campuses in Fullerton and Cypress. Officials have long discussed opening a site more conveniently located for residents of Anaheim, the district’s most populous city.
