Capital in Panic Over Ape-Like Attacker

Fear gripped some suburbs of New Delhi after dozens of residents reported attacks by an ape-like creature leaping from roof to roof.
Police have received about 65 reports of a mysterious attacker with a monkey’s face and human body scratching and biting victims since Saturday, police said. About 3,000 officers are hunting for the attacker.
The Times of India said an industrial worker died Sunday when he jumped off a building after being awoken by cries that the “monkey man” was attacking.
