Civic, Senior Centers in New Five-Year Plan

The City Council on Tuesday approved a five-year plan that includes building a civic center with a city hall and community center, opening one or more senior centers and spending about $6.2 million on the fight against an El Toro airport. In all, the city expects to spend almost $44 million, both in city funds and grant money, on capital projects and investments during that time.
