Robbers Tie Up Family, Take $14,000 in Items
A Westminster couple and their three children were tied up during a home-invasion robbery early Monday by two gunmen who took about $14,000 in cash, jewelry and equipment, police said.
No one was injured during the 7 a.m. robbery at the apartment in the 14000 block of Rondeau Street, Lt. Mike Schliskey said.
Police said two armed men entered the residence and screamed demands in English and Vietnamese as they tied up a couple and their three children with electrical cords. One of the victims was able to free herself and called police, Schliskey said.
