The Philharmonic Society of Orange County will use a $350,000 gift from the Camille M. Durand Trust to create a new endowment fund for its education programs, Society officials announced Wednesday. Durand, who died last June, was a long-time member of the Society’s Tustin Committee, and served on the Society’s board of directors from 1975-1985.
