Amazon Has Slick Offers

Amazon.com, the largest Internet retailer, said customers can buy magazine subscriptions at its Web site.

The company’s Magazine Subscriptions store is offering a variety of national and regional magazines at lower prices than newsstands, Amazon.com said. For example, the Time magazine subscription is 77% less than the newsstand price; Rolling Stone is 88% lower and Sports Illustrated is 68% lower, Amazon.com said.
