Crohn’s disease research--A headline in the California section Nov. 3 incorrectly stated the location of a new research program on Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. The Eli and Edythe L. Broad Foundation program will be conducted at Broad Medical Research facilities, not at UCLA.
Eli Broad, a venture philanthropist, is chairman of SunAmerica, a major financial services company.
“I believe the best way to advance medical knowledge is to support innovative and promising research,” Broad said. “Dr. Hollander is a widely recognized expert in this field.”
