Re “Long Eviction Saga Nears an End,” Nov. 4: Let me get this straight. Four adults living rent-free for 25 years have nowhere to go? Rosa Rezendez stated that she and her two sisters attended school nearby. These are educated people who should have thought about the future and their housing situation. They should have all been working and saving for the American dream of owning a home.

Don’t we all wish we had had it so good for 25 years? I think I’d be retiring by now, not housing these grown children and grandchildren. Where are the fathers of these grandchildren? Are they working and helping? What did the Rezendez children learn while attending school? The party is over. Reality has arrived. School safety shouldn’t cost so much.
