Re “What ‘Way of Life’ Actually Was Changed?” Voices, Nov. 10: We don’t have to have lost an immediate family member in the World Trade Center, or conveniences and luxuries, for our lives to have been forever changed. If not in the assault on civilization and its portent for the future, it is in the open wound of what has happened in our beloved country--in our hearts, our souls, our guts--that our lives have been forever changed.
