“Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” worked its magic at the box office, taking in a record-breaking $90.3 million, the biggest three-day opening for any film. The previous record of $72.1 million was set by “The Lost World: Jurassic Park” in 1997. Actual opening-weekend box-office figures show “Harry Potter” fell short of the $93.5 million Warner Bros. estimated Sunday.
