What Are You Drinking?
“I opened a ’95 Bernard (‘The Other’) Chave Crozes Hermitage. I’ve been holding onto ‘95s from the northern Rhone because when they were first out I found them a little hard. I opened this and I’m still finding it hard--hard to keep my hands off of it. It has wonderful animal and white pepper elements to it that warmed and reinvigorated me as the cool fall evenings move in. It was a cold night, and my wife and I wanted something warm and nervy.”
