Wage Contract With County Workers OKd

Ventura County supervisors approved a contract with county government’s largest union Tuesday.
Under the agreement, 4,200 general workers will receive wage hikes averaging 13% over four years. Starting next in July, 2002, they will also earn a 2% annual cost-of-living increase on their pensions.
