* Nationwide Health Properties Inc., a Newport Beach real estate investment trust, said third-quarter net income totaled $17.9 million, or 38 cents a share, which included a $3-million gain from selling facilities. A year earlier, the company earned $15.8 million, or 34 cents a share. Revenue declined 4% to $41.5 million.
