Medical Meetings for Former Nuclear Workers
Department of Labor and Department of Energy officials will hold two meetings next week in Simi Valley to answer questions about a new federal program that offers $150,000 settlements and medical coverage to former nuclear workers who got sick on the job at sites including Rocketdyne’s Santa Susana Field Laboratory.
Workers may attend a 1 p.m. or 7 p.m. session Tuesday at the Posada Royale Hotel and Suites, 1775 Madera Road.
Sessions to assist workers with applications will be held at the hotel after each meeting, and from 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. For details, call (866) 888-3322.
