Mark Recchi won’t be hesitant to shoot anymore.

Recchi scored his first three goals of the season, and John LeClair added two goals, leading the Flyers to a 6-3 victory over the Washington Capitals Saturday at Philadelphia.

“I’ve felt a lot better and I knew I was getting closer and closer,” said Recchi, who entered the game with just two assists.

Recchi had taken just 13 shots in his first seven games--second-fewest among all Flyer forwards who had played in each game.
