WNBA FINALS VS. CHARLOTTE 12:30, CHANNEL 4

* Site--Staples Center.

* Radio--KSPN (1110).

* Series--Sparks lead, 1-0.

* Update--While Charlotte does not run as often as Los Angeles does, the Sparks will have to keep an eye on Sting forward Allison Feaster, who likes to sneak out after missed shots and race down the court for easy baskets. “She is very athletic and extremely fast,” Spark assistant coach Glenn McDonald said. “Most people think she just likes to shoot threes, but she will put it on the floor. And if she can get some cheap layups, it really lifts their team.” On the other side, Charlotte has to worry about Mwadi Mabika. The Spark forward has not had a great offensive postseason so far, making only 19 of 57 shots (33%) in six playoff games while nursing various bumps and bruises. She is due for a breakout game. A hot hand by Mabika today would go a long way toward easing the loss of Tamecka Dixon, if her injured right heel keeps her from playing.
