Boy, 4, Dies in Fall From Boat Trailer
A 4-year-old boy died Sunday morning after he fell out of a boat trailer that was being moved out of a driveway, authorities said.
Family members didn’t know the boy was sitting in the trailer as a relative backed it into the street in the 30500 block of Gibraltar Place, said Officer Spencer Ammons of the California Highway Patrol. The boy was run over by the trailer.
He was airlifted to Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital in Valencia, where he was pronounced dead.
The accident is under investigation, Ammons said. Authorities would not identify the boy or the family.
