Massoud’s Death
Regarding the death of Afghan opposition leader Ahmed Shah Massoud, reported Friday: He was a man of incredible honor, intelligence and backbone. He believed and always urged the Western World to act on the horrible injustices of the Taliban. He was a fine example of a true Muslim--peace-loving, freedom-loving and passionate. His death, from a suicide bombing that was planned to coordinate with the attack on America, should be a symbol that our enemy is the Taliban and Osama bin Laden, not the good people of Afghanistan or Muslims in general.
