Student at Party Before Wreck That Killed 8

A University of Wyoming student charged in the traffic deaths of eight fellow student-athletes had attended a party before the accident, prosecutors said.
Clinton Haskins, 21, had a blood-alcohol content of 0.16% after the Sunday morning accident, exceeding the legal limit of 0.10%, prosecutor Cal Rerucha said.
Haskins, of Maybell, Colo., made his initial court appearance on eight counts of aggravated vehicular homicide. Each count is punishable by up to 20 years in prison.
