Schools, Police to Offer a Free Parenting Class
The Ventura Police Department and the Ventura Unified School District are offering a 10-week parenting class beginning Wednesday.
The free class will meet for 10 Wednesdays at Pacific High School from 6 to 9 p.m. The class will focus on coping with children who are strong-willed or display out-of-control behavior. Classes will be taught by Officer Jesus Quezada, who runs the Police Department’s Youth Intensive Intervention Program.
