After 20 years, the Yorba Linda Historical Society is resuming its walking tours of the city.

The group, which had been inactive since its last walking tour in 1981, regrouped to turn Bryant Ranch, donated to the historical society by the city, into a museum.

The first in its new series of walking historic tours will be Saturday at the Richard Nixon Library & Birthplace on Yorba Linda Boulevard.

Groups will leave every half hour starting at 10 a.m.

Jo Lyons, museum coordinator who is helping organize this week’s tour, said the group hopes to attract 500 walkers.

Tickets are $5 for adults and free for children. Included on the route are the old depot, the school that Nixon attended, the Old Friends Church and its parsonage, and the old Presbyterian-Methodist Church.
