1 Dead, 3 Injured in Blast at Pyrotechnic Bunker

The longtime owner of a pyrotechnics company was killed when a storage bunker for explosive black powder used in dynamite was rocked by an explosion.
Wednesday’s blast at J&J; Pyrotechnics in Spring Brook Township, about six miles from Scranton, was heard 15 miles away and was followed by other explosions.
One employee was in critical condition and two others suffered minor injuries..
