Enterasys Networks to Cut 30% of Work Force

Enterasys Networks Inc., a computer-networking equipment maker under investigation by federal regulators, will fire 730 workers, or 30% of its staff, and trim capital spending as sales fall. The firm plans to complete most job cuts this week. CEO Enrique Fiallo quit last week amid a probe by the Securities and Exchange Commission. Enterasys shares rose 10 cents to $1.44 on the NYSE.
