The average price of gasoline in Southern California has been rising steadily over the last four months, jumping 18 cents since March to $1.652 for a gallon of self-serve regular, according to the Automobile Club of Southern California. The club’s monthly Fuel Gauge Report, released Tuesday, is based on a survey of 2,800 gas stations.
