College Artists Will Compete in Annual Show
Students at Ventura College will compete for more than 40 prizes at the college’s annual art exhibition opening Tuesday.
Categories include oil and acrylic painting, figure drawing, ceramics, three-dimensional design, advertising design, photography and computer graphics.
Entries will be displayed at the New Media Gallery in the CR Building on campus, 4667 Telegraph Road.
The awards, mostly $50 and $100 prizes, will be presented at a 7 p.m. opening reception Tuesday. The artwork will remain on display Mondays through Thursdays through May 8.
